Six 2nd-Graders Donate Their Hair to Children Who Don't Have Any
Each student cut 10 inches of hair for Locks of Love.

Six second-grade girls from Chatsworth Hills Academy decided to grow their hair for children that don't have any.Â
On Friday, March 8th, each girl cut more than 10 inches of their hair. Strands Salon and Day Spa in Chatsworth donated their services.Â
Councilmember Mitch Englander recognized the girls with a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding citizenship. The girls' ponytails will be given to Locks of Love. Locks of Love uses the hair to make wigs for children who have no hair due to medical conditions.
