Valley LAUSD Superintendent, 3 Others Reassigned in 'Personnel Investigation'
School spokesman would not say why the administrators are being investigated.

The San Fernando Valley's local school superintendent and three other senior Los Angeles Unified officials have been suspended over "a confidential personnel matter," Barbara Jones reports in the Daily News Thursday.
Superintendent Linda Del Cueto, who heads the North Educational Service Center, and Michael Romero, who supervises the Adult Education Division, were removed last Friday, LAUSD spokesman Tom Waldman told the newspaper.
Principals David Kooper and Valerie Moses of Gulf and Los Angeles Elementary schools, were removed from their positions. Kooper was once chief of staff to South Bay school board member Richard Vladovic.

Del Cueto's name surfaced last month in connection with a long-time teacher who was charged with molestation and a veteran principal who retired after being accused of failing to report the suspected abuse, the Daily News reported.
The newspaper sought responses from each of the individuals involved plus school board member Tamar Galatzan, who represents the San Fernando Valley, and District Superintendent John Deasy without success.
