What's Up? Parks and Rec Workshop, a Lesson About Dinosaurs and More

1: Kids are invited to the Chatsworth Library at 3:30 p.m. for a fun lesson about how the dinosaurs lived and died. 21052 Devonshire St. 

2: The Department of Recreation and Parks is holding community workshops throughout the city. The Department is reaching out to communities to strategically plan the delivery of maintenance services and provide operational support to parks and recreation centers. The Department invites the residents of Council District 12 to provide input and comments at their upcoming community meeting. Meeting is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mason Recreation Center, 10500 Mason Ave., Chatsworth.

3: The Canoga Park Bowl and the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra present "Concerts at the Bowl" every Wednesday evening at 8pm in the Royal Room. The Screaming Clams play Rock 'n Roll featuring Jimi Dee on lead guitar and vocals, Joel Domine on keys and guitar, Larry Muradian on bass and Steve Hartman on drums. Admission is free with a two-drink minimum. No one under 21 allowed. Click here for more event information. 

4: On Thursday, Our Community School (OCS) invites local business owners and community members to its Community Building Breakfast series for a complimentary breakfast while they learn about Our Community School and how they can help build community involvement both on and off campus. 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Assembly Hall at Our Community School, 10045 Jumilla Ave. Chatsworth.
