Woman Shot To Death In Granada Hills

GRANADA HILLS, CA — A woman was found shot to death Monday evening inside of a car in an alley in Granada Hills.

Police responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call near the intersection of Chatsworth Street and Hayvenhurst Avenue about 10:25 p.m., where they located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Reports from the scene said the woman's body was found in a vehicle in an alley near the intersection.

A motive for the shooting and the name of the victim were not disclosed.

A detailed description of the shooter was not immediately available.
