Umpqua Bank has moved into a new location in downtown Novato, effective Monday, part of a regional expansion for the Oregon-based bank.
The new branch is at 999 Grant Avenue and will be more "engaging and customer focused," according to Tom Biro, a company spokesman. Umpqua also recently opened branches, which it calls stores, in San Francisco's Financial District and San Jose.
Umpqua Bank has more than 200 locations in California, Oregon and Washington.
