OCEANSIDE, CA — This week's episode of the Advancing Oceanside Podcast from the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce features an Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Special.

Host Hana Gilbert talks with the Owner of Minuteman Press Oceanside, Vishnu Sneller. Vishnu is an incredibly intelligent woman who for decades studied the epidemiology of infectious diseases and health services for displaced populations. After a personal tragedy took her son away from managing Minuteman, Vishnu stepped in to run the shops daily operations. Driven by positivity and perseverance, Vishnu shares how her Indian upbringing taught her to overcome any obstacle. Our interview shares an open and honest recollection of what it means to be Asian American, and how Vishnu hopes to continue to recognize and honor other Asians and Pacific Islanders within our community.
