Marine Corps pilots will be practice bombing at Camp Pendleton this week, base officials announced today. The training will take place in the Zulu impact area, near the center of North County base, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, according to Camp Pendleton's public affairs office. Explosions may be heard up to 50 miles away, depending on atmospheric conditions.-- City News Service
