Oceanside Police Brush Fire Alert on Friday at 10:50 a.m. Police are evacuating streets Marcella and possibly Wooster. UPDATED

OCEANSIDE, CA — Oceanside Police Department alert at 10:50 a.m. on Friday of a Brush Fire in the area of College and Oceanside Blvd. Police are evacuating streets Marcella and possibly Wooster.

Oceanside Police and Fire are working an active brush fire in the area south of Oceanside Bl and Avenida Del Oro. Evacuations for near by residences and some roads will be blocked. Please follow Police directions for road closures.

UPDATE: The Oceanside Police have CANCELLED this alert as of Friday afternoon.
