Camp Pendleton Marines Killed in Afghanistan
Two Marine sergeants were killed in Afghanistan on Sunday, according to the 1st Marine Division.
Camp Pendleton Marine sergeants Joshua J. Robinson, 29, of Omaha, NE, and Adan Gonzales Jr., 28, of Bakersfield, CA, died Sunday while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan, according to a 1st Marine Division press release.
Both Marines were infantrymen assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.
