Celebrate Juneteenth In Downtown Oceanside This Saturday

OCEANSIDE, CA — The annual Juneteenth celebration in Oceanside comes just as the pandemic restrictions are being lifted and the community is encouraged to come out in support of the event.

The North San Diego County NAACP invites you to attend this dynamic festivity on Saturday to celebrate independence, unity and healing. From 10 a.m.-5 p.m., enjoy shopping, food, youth activities, and informational and health awareness booths. Live entertainment will be presented throughout the day.

This celebration is free and open to the public. Located in Downtown Oceanside between North Ditmar St and Pier View Way.

The North San Diego County NAACP doesn’t just commemorate the abolition of slavery during their annual Juneteenth Celebration; they empower the community to participate in creating everlasting change. Families and local organizations come together in downtown Oceanside for a fun-filled day of live music entertainment, mouth-watering BBQ, basketball, a job fair and many other exciting activities. Change can be fun, too!
