By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-Saturday, June 19, 2021-Poway High School-Poway, CA: The Eagles of Granite Hills High School 25-10 have found a way to win but did it the hard way. The last time these schools played was on April 12th at Granite Hills High School and won by a 5-0. This time the Pointers of Point Loma turned the tables, as they appeared in their 3rd final with 2 CIF titles jumped to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on an rbi double by Corbin Chairiello and single by Duke Ekstrom.

Granite Hills came back as they scored 1 run in the bottom of the 2nd on James Taylor's rbi fielders choice, 1 in the 5th on Eric McNeish Heider's rbi in the home fifth tied the game at 2-2. In the bottom 7th, the Eagles on Hudson Beamon's game winning single scoring Alex Gilbaud made the final score 3-2 in favor of Granite Hills.

Hudson Beamon on the game winning hit for Granite Hills: "When I had my at bat my responsibility is to look for a good pitch to hit that was a fastball, I'm glad that I contributed to the team and our minds were in the game never count us out."
