Combat Stress Could Affect Camp Pendleton Male and Female Marines Equally

Male and female service members are equally resilient when it comes to dealing with combat stress, according to a study led by the Boston University School of Medicine.

An article published by Boston University's BU Today looks at a School of Medicine study that reports female service members are just as resilient as their male counterparts in dealing with the stresses of combat.

The researchers interviewed 340 women and 252 men who had returned from combat in Iraq or Afghanistan within the previous year about their feelings of depression or anxiety as a result of being deployed to war.
