Commandant of the Marine Corps Wants Marines to Be More Resilient to Stress
Regardless of a Marine's job, Gen. Jim Amos told the Marine Corps Times, he wants each of them to train using the Infantry Immersion Trainer aboard Camp Pendleton.

With more Marines returning home with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder than ever before, the commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Jim Amos, wants to make his troops more resilient to combat stress, he told the Marine Corps Times.
Amos wants more of his Marines to undergo infantry immersion training, regardless of their job in the Corps. Camp Pendleton has an Infantry Immersion Trainer (IIT) that uses mock neighborhood structures and virtual reality technology for combat simulation.
