OCEANSIDE, CA — The Oceanside Council meeting on Wednesday, May 5 is a joint meeting of the Oceanside City Council, Oceanside Small Craft Harbor District Board of Directors, Oceanside Community Development Commission, and the Oceanside Public Financing Authority.
The meeting agenda includes 26 items ranging from proclamations to resolutions on a Sanitary Sewer Management Plan and approvals for the El Corazon Oside Arena project.
The Closed Door session starts at 3:30pm, followed by regular business at 5:00pm. If applicable public hearings commence at 6:00pm.

Calendar Consent, General and Public Hearing highlights:
- Approval of actions governing the El Corazon Specific Plan Area, including the development of a mixed-use project and an arena project and lease between the City and Oside Arena.
- Approval of Agreement in the amount of $432,355 to complete a project study report and design of the park restrooms for the Buccaneer Beach Park Facilities Project.
- Adoption of resolutions to apply for and receive grant funds (estimated at $15,238,572) from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s WaterSMART: Title XVI WIIN Grant Programs.
- Adoption of an ordinance amending the Oceanside Traffic Code to update street names, regulate electric vehicle charging station parking and oversized vehicle parking, and make technical changes to the beach area parking and preferential parking permit programs.
