Friends Of The Oceanside Library Amateur Photo Contest
Got an iconic photo of Oceanside? You could win the Grand Prize of a one-week stay in Big Bear.

OCEANSIDE, CA — There are so many great places to snap a memorable photo in Oceanside. Do you have an image that evokes community and joy?
The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library are inviting community members ages 18 and over to participate in a photography contest during the month of May.
The contest is for amateur photographers in Oceanside and surrounding areas. The Friends of the Oceanside Public Library are looking for photographs taken within the City of Oceanside that represent each individual’s interpretation of what “community” and “joy” mean to them. This is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library. All fundraising efforts by the Friends are used to support Library programs and services. Like many organizations, the Friends’ ability to raise funds has been severely impacted by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. You can make a difference by visiting oplfriends.org to donate or become a member for as little as $10 per year.
