OCEANSIDE, CA — Patch reader Gail Basse captured this photo of 'Gulls Not Seals' at the Oceanside harbor.

"We are transplants from Palm Springs area, and we moved here just a few months prior to the pandemic. This spot in Oceanside is one we came to love during the lockdown, since we got a “pandemic puppy” that needed to be taken for walks to burn off the puppy energy. It helped to save a little of our sanity! We still go there often, as well as the north jetty and another spot that I will keep a secret for now!"
