Rep. Duncan Hunter introduced a joint House-Senate resolution recommending that Marine Sgt. Rafael Peralta receive a posthumous award, according to a <a href="http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2013/mar/19/congress-pushes-peralta-medal-of-honor/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">U-T San Diego report.</a> Peralta died on Nov. 15, 2004 in Fallujah while serving with the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment. He was 25.
