KFMB-TV Channel 8 put together a video package Friday on a Marine Corps Times article, "Sexting in the Corps," which included an interview with Times Reporter Gina Cavallaro. It's a topic that can be especially delicate for military couples who often spend months apart during deployments. Reporter Gina Cavallaro says many spouses admit to sexting, calling it a great way to remind their partner they're on their mind, but add they do it discreetly.
Marines star in 2 new video games
Marine Corps Times featured an article Saturday on two new video games with U.S. Marines as the main characters. Operation Flashpoint: Red River, due for release June 7, and Battlefield 3, due for release sometime in the fall, come repleat with Marine jargon and f-bombs. The games put the player behind the controls of this elite fighting force. Marine Corps Times:

For the public, the games will give anyone with a little Marine envy a chance to pick up a controller and play grunt. The only risk to one’s life is a growing dependency on Mountain Dew and Doritos.
