Knights Lose 34-22 to Falcons on Home Turf

Despite having home-field advantage, the Camp Pendleton Knights were dominated by the Miramar Falcons on Monday.

The 9th Communication Battalion Knights lost their first game played on the Paige Field House field at Camp Pendleton on Monday.

The Miramar Falcons scored the first touchdown and ended the first half 22-3. The Knights fought back during the third quarter and scored a touchdown. However, the Falcons dominated the Knights and defeated them 34-22.

The Falcons were the 2009 Camp Pendleton Football League champions. The teams are a part of the Camp Pendleton Football League and will continue playing their regular season until October.
