Last Day To Donate School Supplies To Help At-Risk Students

Help provide a great first day back to school with needed supplies for the 150+ kids served by WRC every year.

OCEANSIDE, CA - A month-long school supply drive organized by WRC ends Friday July 27. The WRC school supply drive provides low-income students basic supplies to aid in their educational development and contribute to a more prosperous future that benefits the entire community.

Teachers frequently spend their own money to buy supplies for their classrooms, while many families struggle to provide needed school supplies for their children. Help ensure students are prepared to learn and that no child goes back to school without the necessary tools.

"When children don't have the school supplies they need it can affect their ability to learn and their overall self-esteem" said Brandee Clayton, WRC Special Event Coordinator. "School supplies can improve a student's outlook towards education and ultimately their opportunities to succeed."
