Local Agritourism Documentary by KOCT Premieres June 4

Register now for this fun evening featuring the premiere of the highly anticipated Agritourism documentary by KOCT which was funded by the County of San Diego’s Board of Supervisors 2017-2018 Community Enhancement Grant.

The premiere event is sponsored by Visit Oceanside, Green Oceanside, and the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce. The documentary focuses on the importance of Agritourism throughout North County San Diego and includes beautiful aerial and landscape clips of Oceanside and the surrounding area. There are also interviews with the San Diego County Farm Bureau, Local Farmers, City of Oceanside Staff, Restaurateurs and Chefs. The goal of Agritourism is to encourage non-farmers and tourists to visit local farms or ranches. Agritourism also encompasses the Farm to Table Movement that is taking place in local restaurants and farmers markets.

During the premiere of the documentary, there will be complimentary appetizers and beverages plus several guest speakers including, Oceanside Mayor Peter Weiss, San Diego County Farm Bureau Executive Director Eric Larson, Visit Oceanside Director of Development Dana Higgins and more.
