Local Farmer's Market Spotlight: Oceanside Farmer's Market
Get ready for the weekly Oceanside Farmer's Market every Thursday from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
OCEANSIDE, CA - Every Thursday you can find the freshest produce, tastiest treats and most unique gifts in downtown Oceanside at the Farmers Market. Located on Pier View Way between the Coast Highway and Ditmar, you can sample wares from local farmers and artisans to see just how much love goes into their products. Guitar players sing, shopkeepers calling out “Free Samples” and people gathered together to enjoy the day, shop for dinner, or grab a quick bite for lunch.
The Friends of the Library also offers a book sale adjacent to the Farmers Market, where you can buy books of every genre and topic from as little as $1. All proceeds go to the library to help support the many programs they offer to kids and adults alike.
The Oceanside Farmers Market has something for everyone and there are always new things to try. You can find a wide selection of food booths to fit any palate. On any given week that can include; crepes, thai, gyros, paninis, tamales, desserts, snacks and even Booboo's Sweet Potato Pies, a long-time local favorite.

According to the MainStreet website, Oceanside's Farmers Market is held every Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. all year round. If you are searching for fresh local produce, flowers and nursery items, this is the market for you! But that's not all we have for you. Don't miss the huge selection of gourmet goodies including artisan baked goods, organic honey, salsa and chips, dips and sauces, olives and olive oil, and so much more. Shop from among dozens of crafts booths for a selection of handmade goods including jewelry, wearing apparel, soap and lotions, seashells, photography and many others.
