Make A Difference! Join A Committee Or Commission In Oceanside

OCEANSIDE, CA — The City of Oceanside is accepting applications for openings on the Police and Fire Commission, Utilities Commission, and the Measure X Citizen’s Oversight Committee.

Oceanside residents can apply for one unscheduled vacancy on the Police and Fire Commission, one on the Utilities Commission, and one on the Measure X Citizen’s Oversight Committee.

• The Police and Fire Commission unexpired term will end August 1, 2022.
• The Utilities Commission unexpired term will end July 1, 2022.
• The Measure X Citizen’s Oversight Committee unexpired term will end June 30, 2023.

Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office, 300 North Coast Highway and should be returned by July 30, 2021 for the current unscheduled vacancies. Applications are also available on the City's website at www.ci.oceanside.ca.us. Applications are kept on file for one year.

It is the policy of the City of Oceanside that no qualified disabled person be denied the opportunity to participate as a member of any committee or commission.
