Marines at the Market: Oceanside Street Food Is Good Food
Camp Pendleton Patch talks with Marines about their favorite street food booths at the Oceanside Sunset Market on Thursday.
Whether it's taco rice, gyros or vegi-burritos, one thing's for sure: Marines love their street food and they don't mind eating while standing. The Thursday Oceanside Sunset Market is a recurring street fair with entertainment, as well as food and merchandise booths of all sorts. The market runs each Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. on Pier View Way, between Cleveland Street and North Coast Highway; and also on Tremont Street, between Mission Avenue and Civic Center Drive.
