Max is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet of The Week

Max is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1 year old, 29 pound, male, Hound mix.

Max was transferred from a crowded shelter in Sonora through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. When he arrived, Max was shy. Now he gets excited when people approach him and he even give kisses, if it’s okay with you.

He needs a family that has plenty of time and energy. He needs to “trade up.” You can never just take anything from him. If you want what Max has, you need to trade him for something just as good or better.

The $145 adoption fee for Max includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services. Dream Dinners in Encinitas is holding a curbside fundraiser for your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. They will create 3 meals for your family for just $50. RCHS will receive $10 for every order. The Community Pet Food Bank at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society is open every Saturday morning from 9 to 11. This weekend it will also be open on Sunday, March 21st from 10 AM to 1 PM at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas. The Pet Food Bank provides food and other supplies for the pets of senior citizens, families that are working poor, people with disabilities or terminal illnesses, veterans, and members of the homeless community.
