
An unidentified motorist was killed early today when a sedan plowed into the back of a parked big-rig trailer in front of a North County industrial park, winding up jammed about two-thirds of the way underneath the cargo hauler.
The 1997 Ford Escort veered out of an eastbound lane in the 1200 block of Park Center Drive in Vista for unknown reasons shortly before 6 a.m., according to sheriff's officials.
The driver, a man who appeared to be in his mid-20s to early 30s, died at the scene. He was not carrying identification, Sgt. Joel Wigand said.

The car is registered to an Oceanside address, the sergeant said.
The trailer was not attached to a truck at the time of the accident.
