Oceanside Comic Advances On 'America's Got Talent'

Vicki Barbolak became just one of seven acts out of 18 to move forward on 'America's Got Talent' Tuesday night. Oceanside comic and trailer park mom of two girls, Vicki Barbolak has faced rejection many times in her life, but as judge Howie Mandel told her "There isn't any tonight."

All of the 'AGT' judges were won over by Vicki's bold and brazen comedy that pokes fun at her "trailer park" lifestyle. Guest judge Olivia Munn said she wished she had another Golden Buzzer to give to Barbolak, after she had already given it to the Angel City Chorale earlier in the evening.

Even Judge Heidi Klum, who is not a big fan of comedy acts, loved Barbolak's performance. "You're my favorite comedian this year. A lot of times I sit here, and I'm like –," Klum said, "With you, I'm literally laughing, laughing, laughing because you're so brash. You're kind of unapologetic, but you're so likable at the same time."

Vicki gave a shout out to her Rancho Calevero Mobile Home Park family and emphasized how much growing up in Oceanside impacted her life and comedy in an introduction to her performance. "When I was a kid, I was super fat," Barbolak said. "Kids were really mean unfortunately, so what I quickly learned to do is make jokes before they made jokes to me. It would stomp them down."

Vicki certainly got the last laugh tonight and all of Oceanside is celebrating with her. We can't wait to catch up with Vicki and find out how she is celebrating her victory and preparing for the Live shows.
