Oceanside Featured In KPBS Series 'Where I Come From"

"Culture: The Many Sides of Oceanside" is the latest episode spotlighted in the new series from KPBS.

OCEANSIDE, CA - People that have the privilege of living in Oceanside understand it is a special and diverse community. In the latest episode of the KPBS series 'Where I Come From" they capture the essence of how locals feel about their town in a short video that features 10 different perspectives from a range of residents. Together they demonstrate the aptly named episode, "Culture: The Many Sides of Oceanside".

According to the KPBS website the Oceanside episode is about, "Who are the people who make up Oceanside? The community has an amalgam of cultures -- African American, Mexican, Polynesian, white, Filipino and Korean -- that defines the feel of the area. How do they all interact and come together? Here's what community members say."
