Oceanside Street Sweeping Parking Enforcement Begins This Week
Heads up Oceanside! Don't forget to move your vehicle if you park on the street. Starting June 21 street sweeping enforcement resumes.
OCEANSIDE, CA — The City of Oceanside resumes enforcement for street sweeping parking violations beginning June 21, 2021. Enforcement was paused during the pandemic to accommodate residents staying at home more often.
Now that Stay at Home Orders are lifted, enforcement will resume on designated street sweeping maintenance days to ensure street gutters can be cleaned, reduce pollution entering the storm drains, and keep our City clean.
Over the past month, the City has been leaving flyers on unmoved vehicles as a courtesy to prepare residents for the switch to enforcement. To avoid a ticket on future street sweeping days, make sure to move your car beginning June 21, 2021. Please refer to the street signs on your block for the days and times of parking restrictions, and move your vehicles accordingly.
