October Fresh Harvest Fest - Saturday, Oct 20 at Goat Hill Park
Benefit for O'side Kitchen Collaborative features Live Music, Food, Carnival Games, Pumpkin Carving & Dog Costume Contests.
Bring your friends and family for October Fresh O’side Outside Harvest Fest celebration on Saturday, October 20th at Goat Hill Park from 2 p.m. to sunset. Enjoy local musicians, delicious food and drinks and local vendors. The concert will benefit O’side Kitchen Collaborative, a non-profit collaboration program dedicated to supporting zero waste food efforts in Oceanside.
October Fresh will feature music by Shane Hall, Billy Galewood, Untitled & Hllndr. There will also be a variety of delicious fall inspired food and beverages including vegan and vegetarian cuisine. There's something for everyone to enjoy including a mini mercado farmers market & fall carnival games and fall themed crafts. Get creative and participate in a Pumpkin Carving contest or enter your pooch in the Dog Costume contest.
Feeding the Soul Foundation, a non-profit organization that highlights the talent of local musicians to promote local foundations and businesses, is hosting October Fresh. “There’s no better way to celebrate fall than outside with the sun shining and music filling your ears, listening to great talent,” said Vallie Gilley, Feeding the Soul’s Founder and Executive Director. “We are so excited to host this community musical event and share our new collaboration, O’side Kitchen. This new program supports zero waste by sourcing surplus and "ugly" fruits and vegetables directly from local growers and provides full service conscience catering, creatively delicious preserved products and community zero waste culinary education with this food."

October Fresh is open to the public, entry is $15 online, $20 day of event, kids are free. Be sure to bring your ticket receipt (or screenshot) and ID (21+) for adult beverages.

Dog Costume Contest results will be announced at 3:30pm and the top 3 winners will be awarded Ribbons and Gift Baskets valued at $100 for 1st Place, $75 for 2nd Place and $50 for 3rd Place.
Pumpkin Carving Contest results will be announced at sunset and the top 3 winners will be awarded Ribbons and Gift Baskets valued at $100 for 1st Place, $75 for 2nd Place and $50 for 3rd Place.
