On Sept. 11, Take a Day On, Not a Day Off

Not-for-profit Action America is helping to coordinate community service and donations to various organizations dedicated to the remembrance of those affected by 9/11.

To mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Tim Armstrong CEO of AOL (Patch's parent company) and Kenny Dichter, founder of Marquis Jet, are asking you to support Action America, a nonprofit dedicated to turning the events of Sept. 11, 2001 into positive action.

On the Action America site, you can share your 9/11 stories, schedule community service hours to serve or donate to the 9/11 Memorial or the Wounded Warriors Project.
