One Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-5 In Carlsbad: CHP Report

OCEANSIDE, CA — The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle rollover crash at 4:46 AM on the northbound I-5 freeway, south of Tamarack Avenue.

Heavy fog may have been a factor. The driver of one vehicle said they hit debris in the right lanes, according to CHP report. Upon arrival at the scene, CHP reported a vehicle facing the wrong way on the center divide and HOV lanes, and one person was possibly ejected from a vehicle. One person was reported killed in the crash.
