Photos Of Marine's Tea Party With 4-Year-Old Daughter Will Warm Your Heart

A Marine drill instructor sat down with his 4-year-old daughter to enjoy some tea, and it ended in an adorable series of photographs.

A Marine Corps drill instructor, dressed in full military gear, sat down with his 4-year-old daughter to enjoy a cup of tea, and the tea party was captured on camera in an adorable set of photos.

Keven Porter, 28, was surprised by his wife Lizz Porter, who wanted to do something special to mark the "Month of the Military Child." The Marine had no idea what was in store until he showed up for the photo shoot.

“He was hesitant at first but after a little talking I was able to convince him. He would do anything for Ashley,” Lizz Porter, of Oceanside, told ABC News.

Porter added that her husband was a little embarrassed, but when he saw how excited 4-year-old Ashley was, he couldn't say no.

“She was excited," Porter told CBS8. "She started jumping around and calling herself a princess. They were having a lot of fun. Ashley got right into it. A while into the photo shoot my husband started warming up.”

Porter wanted the photo shoot to show the softer side of military men and to illustrate that drill instructors, like her husband, have a completely different side to the them after they work long and hard hours.
