Police Respond to Explosion in Carlsbad
Police find a plastic bottle with an unknown liquid at the scene Saturday night.

The Carlsbad Police Department is seeking information following an explosion on the 6700 block of Camphor Place Saturday night, according to a news release.
The incident was reported after someone saw an object tossed from a vehicle explode, according to the news release from the Carlsbad Police Department.
No one was injured and no property was damaged.

Officers found an opened plastic bottle in the street with an unknown liquid, which was determined to be the destructive device.
The Carlsbad Fire Department and the San Diego HazMat were called to the scene to handle the unknown liquid in the bottle.
