Shocking Facts About the District One Recall of Kori Jensen

District One Councilmember Kori Jensen was quoted on July 8th - "Homelessness is my biggest concern as an alcohol drug counselor..." and "For me as a citizen, as an alcohol and drug counselor..."

Speaking only for myself, I'd like to ask councilmember Jensen a few questions.

Kori, isn't it true that your license as an alcohol counselor has expired?

The licensing board just told me that it is improper for you to be holding yourself out as an alcohol and drug counselor, yet in this article on July 8th that's exactly what you did. Are you worried about any repercussions if a formal complaint is made? Would you say that you are an unethical, untruthful person?

Regarding the tax deficit on your Oceanside home at 815 S. Pacific, you said: "I worked out an agreement with the county assessor's office."

Isn't it true that as of July 8th you've made exactly zero payments on this arrangement (if an agreement in fact even exists), and your bill just keeps climbing due to interest and penalties? And why is your homeowner's exemption taken on your Carlsbad residence not your Oceanside residence? And why are those Carlsbad property taxes all paid up, while your short term vacation rental house in Oceanside is now four years in deficit? And why did you swear in court under oath last year that your "primary residence is in Carlsbad?"

Are you even aware that you now owe almost $60,000 in back taxes on the house in Oceanside?

By the way you also haven't paid your TOT to the City of Oceanside for your non-residence non-hosted beach house rental, either, isn't that correct? What is it going to take for you to step up and pay your bills, Kori?

Would you say that you are "unable" or "unwilling" to manage your own finances?

Kori, you stated "It's just not true that I voted to close Brooks pool" (yes it IS true because that's exactly what you did).

Isn't this yet just another lie?

Everyone reading here should go watch your vote on the pool closure. Spoiler alert: the councilmember is lying AGAIN. Why do you persist with spinning these wild fairy tales Kori, when people can easily just check for themselves and see that you're lying? You can't speak facts into existence Kori, when the KOCT city channel 19 website has all the video stored and available for viewing.

There are cars from Texas and Arizona parked in your driveway every day now because it's summer and you rent out your Oceanside house; and you do NOT live there correct?

You actually don't "host" the rentals, because your own attorney is telling people that when you rent out the house you "store your things in a secure place and stay with a friend a few blocks away," and your car is never present when the out of towners are there. So you're lying about that also I guess, right? Or do you have an attorney that lies? Which one is it?

We're all on to you Kori. You can either step down voluntarily or be removed by recall, in disgrace.
