Silver Alert: Oceanside Man Goes Missing In Carlsbad
Byron Dale Shewman, 73, suffers from medical conditions and was last seen shortly after midnight in Carlsbad Saturday morning.

CARLSBAD - Police are asking for help finding a 73-year-old Oceanside man who disappeared early Saturday morning in the Carlsbad area.
The California Highway Patrol and Oceanside Police Department circulated a photo of Byron Dale Shewman, who suffers from medical conditions.
Byron Dale Shewman was last seen at about 1 a.m. in the area of Palomar Airport Road and Melrose Drive, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Shewman is a 6-feet-1-inch tall, white male, weighing 175 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans, according to the CHP. He was driving a gray 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with California license plate number 22103C1.
Anyone with information regarding Shewman's whereabouts was urged to call the Oceanside Police Department at 760-435-4900.
