Summer Free Lunch Program From Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside
Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside will provide Free Lunch and Snack to Youth throughout the summer with convenient curbside pickup.
OCEANSIDE, CA - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) announces Free Summer Lunch Program. During the pandemic, BGCO launched an Emergency Food Program to provide food and other free essential resources to local youth.
Beginning on June 15th, BGCO will continue to offer free, fresh-made lunches and snacks to youth under the age of 18 throughout the summer. Meals will be prepared by BGCO accomplished Culinary Arts staff and will be fresh, nutritious, and most importantly, delicious! Each pickup will include a lunch and snack.
“We are very excited to be able to continue this critical program over the summer. During the pandemic, food insecurity more than tripled among households with children. While things are improving, many children are still going hungry, which is unacceptable to us. We want to ensure that youth in Oceanside continue to receive the nutrition they need,” said Jodi Diamond, CEO.

Meal pick-up will be Monday- Fridays from 12pm-1pm. Parents can come to our Townsite location at 401 Country Club Lane in Oceanside to receive meals for their children. Youth need not be a member of BGCO to receive a meal, but must be under the age of 18. Families do not need to leave the safety of their cars, thanks to our convenient curbside pickup! They will pull their car up to the curb outside the Club, where they will see a food program sign. Club staff will then hand meals through the passenger window. We will also offer curbside pickup for those without cars, while adhering to social distancing protocols, as recommended by the CDC.
