Traffic Cleared After 2 Crashes Tie Up Both Sides of SR-78

Caltrans sent a tweet saying a all lanes were open as of 12:15 p.m.

Two crashes about 10 minutes apart tied up traffic on both sides of SR-78 in Oceanside late Wednesday morning. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the first crash happened about 10:45 a.m. on eastbound lanes, when a white sedan crashed into the center divide, near El Camino Real. 

About 10 minutes later, westbound traffic was halted when a black SUV rolled onto its side between Emerald Avenue and College Boulevard, according to CHP. 

With two lanes closed, SigAlert was reported at about 11:50 a.m. Caltrans sent a tweet saying a all lanes were open as of 12:15 p.m.
