The Oceanside family of the man shot and killed by Los Angeles Police are alarmed and angry that officers fired up to 20 rounds.
Brian Newt Beaird had led police on an hour-long chase through Los Angeles. They have filed a $20 million claim against the department. LAPD administrators are investigating the shooting. And the officers have been placed on leave.
