2021 Golf Fore Alzheimer’s Tournament Raises More Than $100,000

The 7th Annual Golf Fore Alzheimer’s Tournament, hosted by Alzheimer’s Orange County (AlzOC) at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo on May 14, raised more than $100,000 to support the nonprofit organization’s programs and services.

Here are a few highlights: The 2021 honorees were Charlene and Judd Jessup of Coto de Caza. The helicopter ball drop winner was AlzOC Board member Robin Richter. The Beat the Pro winner was Matt Schroka and the Putting Contest winner was Jonathan Obest. The number one gross team was led by Ben Tate of Tate | La Mott | Group and the runner-up team was led by Burton Young of Sperry Equities.

Sponsors included Discount Tire & Service Centers, Sperry Equities, Pacific Western Bank and Risk Strategies. Community Partners included Celinda’s, PEPSICO Food Service, McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream and realtor Nora Gallogly. The breakfast underwriters were Stifel, Freedom Village and Whole in One Management LP. Scott Baldwin Bourbon and Wilson Creek Winery provided cocktails and wine in the reception area.

Gold Hole sponsors included Bristol Hospice, Blairwood Financial, Bridlewood Insurance Services, Inc., the Carfioli Family, Mesa Energy Systems, Risk Strategies, Sperry Equities, Syrentis Clinical, Research, Tate | La Mott | Group, and Televergence. The award underwriter was the Carfioli Family, the contest underwriter was Santa Margarita Ford, and the beer underwriter was The Pavlik Family. Leading silent auction items were Wilson Creek Winery, the Ducks Suite and the Angels Suite.
