91 Freeway Crash, Car Fire Stalls Morning Commute
A crash left one vehicle in flames and slowed traffic to a crawl on the busy freeway early Thursday.
ANAHEIM, CA —Multiple cars collided with one another early Thursday on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway. One car burst into flames, and California Highway Patrol blocked three lanes for the crash cleanup, according to officials.
The crash took place on the eastbound 91 Freeway at Brookhurst Street just after 6 a.m., the CHP said.
One car was immediately engulfed in flames, though no one was injured, according to reports. The SIG alert lasted for about an hour during cleanup after the crash, CHP said.
