Alzheimer’s Orange County’s Golf Fore Alzheimer’s Tourney, May 14

It’s time to dust off your golf clubs and lace up your golf shoes. Alzheimer’s Orange County (AlzOC) will host its 7th Annual Golf Tournament, Friday, May 14 at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo.

While spaces remain, the popular tournament features morning or afternoon tee times with breakfast or lunch, adult beverages, dinner, auction, awards and entertainment.

Fortunately, golfers and non-golfers alike have the opportunity to participate in the helicopter ball drop that is priced at $10 per ticket. The ball drop grand prize will be a two-night stay (Friday – Sunday) at Hotel Del Coronado Curio Collection by Hilton on Coronado Island, generously sponsored by Tony Allen. The morning round will handle 48 total golfers at $1,000 per foursome or $250 per player. The afternoon round will accommodate up to 144 golfers at $1,200 per foursome or $500 per player. Evening activities are priced at $75 per person.All proceeds will support AlzOC programs and services.

The 2021 honorees are Charlene and Judd Jessup of Coto de Caza, who have committed $10,000 to AlzOC. Other sponsors include Discount Tire & Service Centers, Sperry Equities, Pacific Western Bank and Risk Strategies. Community Partners include Celinda’s, PEPSICO Food Service, McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream and realtor Nora Gallogly.

The breakfast underwriters are Stifel, Freedom Village and Whole in One Management LP. Scott Baldwin Bourbon and Wilson Creek Winery will be providing cocktails and wine in the reception area.Gold Hole sponsors include Bristol Hospice, Blairwood Financial, Bridlewood Insurance Services, Inc., the Carfioli Family, Mesa Energy Systems, Risk Strategies, Sperry Equities, Syrentis Clinical, Research, Tate | La Mott | Group, and Televergence.

The award underwriter is the Carfioli Family, the contest underwriter is Santa Margarita Ford, and the beer underwriter is The Pavlik Family.To keep everyone safe as they enjoy all of the tournament activities, AlzOC will be following CDC guidelines, including have limited person-to-person contact, and taking into account socially distanced logistics and layout.
