Patch Pick: Aiden Leos Will Be Memorialized At The Place He Loved: The Zoo. A memorial for the 6-year-old boy who died due to a road rage shooting will be placed at the large mammal exhibit when it opens in 2022. (More on Patch).

Welcomed around the nation, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, the memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. Interactive guided tours are carried out by FDNY firefighters who provide firsthand accounts of the day and its aftermath.
