Disney Channel Star Builds A Droid At Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
'Sydney To The Max" star Jackson Dollinger visited Galaxy's Edge & showed how droid building is done at the happiest place on earth.

ANAHEIM, CA - Disney Channel star Jackson Dollinger was among the few who attended an early opening at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Dollinger, who appears in the Disney Channel show "Sydney to the Max" as daredevil skateboarder Max Reynolds, was more than happy to share his process building the creation at the pre-opening event with Patch.
One of the things he most looked forward to about the new land? The chance to build a BB Unit of his very own.

It was telling, watching the customers at the droid workshop pick out their droid parts off a moving conveyor belt, place them in a basket and create a droid of their very own.
The retro R2 units went to the older clientele while the newer, sleeker BB Units seemed reserved for the young.

For Dollinger, getting to take part in the process, use power tools, learn how to build something that moves and responds to the remote commands was truly impressive.
His joy was palpable, as was the reactions of all those around.
Building and driving your droid is about as cool as piloting the Millennium Falcon. And to do both things on the same day?
That's a priceless journey to Disneyland.
