BREA, CA — A driver died Sunday in fiery crash in Brea that was apparently caused by excessive speed.
The crash happened near Valencia Avenue and Entrada Drive about 3:15 p.m., according to Brea police.
Responding officers found the car completely engulfed in flames, and the driver died at the scene, police said.

The victim's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. No other injuries were reported.
