
BREA, CA — A 3.0 magnitude quake shook parts of the Southland on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reports. The temblor happened at 8:28 a.m. local time and occurred about 4.8 miles below the earth's surface.
According to the U.S.G.S., the quake was centered:
- 1.9 mi WSW of Brea
- 3.8 mi S of Placentia
- 3.9 mi NNW of Rowland Heights
- 4.2 mi SE of Yorba Linda
- 4.7 mi SW of Fullerton
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
