Fire At Disneyland Shuts Down Adventureland Area
The small fire occurred backstage near the Jungle Cruise Thursday evening.

ANAHEIM, CA — Disneyland's Adventureland was shut down Thursday evening in the wake of a small fire that broke out in a backstage area.
The blaze was reported at about 6:10 p.m. in an area between the Jungle Cruise and the the Disneyland Fire Department on Main Street U.S.A. The building includes Walt Disney’s former apartment, according to People magazine.
Disneyland castmembers directed guests to the exit while firefighters made quick work of the blaze.

No one was injured in the fire, and it was not immediately clear what triggered it. The blaze did not close down the park, but it did affect some operations around the park.
