'He Gave Us Such Joy': SoCal Mother Eulogizes Slain Son
At an open-casket memorial service, a Southern California mother mourned her son who was killed in a road rage shooting last month.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — An Orange County child who was killed in a road rage shooting was remembered at a memorial service on Saturday, where his mother spoke of her son's warmth and intelligence.
Aiden Leos, 6, was honored at an open-casket service on Saturday at Calvary Chapel in Yorba Linda, where Leos attended kindergarten.
“He gave us such joy, giving us purpose to our life. I felt so honored to be Aiden’s mommy,” his mother, Joanna Cloonan said on Saturday.

Cloonan was driving Leos to kindergarten on May 21 on the northbound 55 between the Garden Grove (22) Freeway and Chapman Avenue when another vehicle cut her off, according to witness accounts. She responded with a hand gesture and the car pulled in behind her and fired a shot through the back of her car. Leos was hit while he was sitting in a booster seat in the right rear passenger seat.
"I want nothing more than to find justice, though it won’t bring you back into my arms. My precious son had his life ripped away for absolutely no reason," Cloonan said on Saturday.

No one has been arrested in connection with the deadly road rage shooting but the reward to find a suspect has swelled to $500,000, Southern California News Group reported. The reward offer originated from the family's crowdfunded $50,000 pool but it grew after Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner donated $50,000 to match the family.
"It snowballed from there," he said last month. "This community is coming together to see justice done."
Supervisor Katrina Foley also donated $50,000 from her office's discretionary budget.
A GoFundMe set up for the family has raised $338,072, exceeding a goal of $100,000.
Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer issued a stern warning on May 27 to a pair of unidentified suspects sought in the road-rage shooting.
Spitzer gave the two people who were in the car — a man and a woman — 24 hours to turn themselves in.
"We're not messing around anymore," Spitzer said. "So you choose door A or door B ... Door A, we listen to what you have to say."
Door B, he explained, involved throwing the book at the killer and anyone who helped him evade justice.
"You've got about 24 hours to turn yourself in, or that door is closing on your future. I'm running out of patience," Spitzer said, adding that "the longer this goes on, the less sympathetic I will be to understand you."
Spitzer said it appears the woman was driving the suspect vehicle while a male passenger opened fire.
Prosecutors in the county have solved cases going back 40 years. He reminded them. Spitzer says that his department "will never rest" on holding the boy's killer accountable.
"To the woman driving the car, you need to turn yourself in," Spitzer said. "You are an accomplice... It's not going to get any better for you."
Addressing the shooter, he said, "You have to spend the rest of your life knowing you killed a 6-year-old boy."
