Illumination Foundation’s Annual Chef’s Table Fundraiser Returns

The eighth edition of the Foundation's annual "Elite Gala of Orange County" returns outdoors on Sunday, June 27, 2021, beginning at 5:30 PM.

Moving from the iconic Disneyland® Hotel to the private San Juan Capistrano estate of Marc and Jacqueline DuPont-Carlson in keeping with COVID-19 safety protocols, the Illumination Foundation - https://www.ifhomeless.org – will hold the eighth edition of its annual “Elite Gala of Orange County” outdoors on Sunday, June 27, 2021, beginning at 5:30 PM.

Jacqueline DuPont-Carlson and Karen Jordan are the event’s co-chairs. The estate’s two and a half meandering acres will provide a picturesque outdoor backdrop for a kitchen full of renowned local chefs to bring their extensive culinary chops to life, much to the delighted senses of guests.

Restaurants to be represented include The Blind Rabbit, Toast, Villa Roma/ Cambalache, Trevor's at the Tracks, The Parkestry at the JW Marriott Anaheim, Haven, Strong Water, Sapphire, the Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens and The Ranch.

This year’s event will also feature the skills of world-class chef Amar Santana of Vaca, Broadway and The Hall Global Eatery at South Coast Plaza, an auction and plenty of surprises.

Proceeds from the evening will support the nonprofit’s targeted, interdisciplinary services designed to disrupt the cycle of homelessness in Southern California, including Kimberly House, which is being refurbished to accommodate people with disabilities.

“We are delighted to return to having an in-person spectacular evening under the stars for our supporters and look forward to a night of good food, good cheer, and mostly importantly, raising funds for a good cause,” said Illumination Foundation CEO Paul Leon.
