Man Killed in Freeway Crash On 55 Freeway In OC ID'd
A 34-year-old Santa Ana man who was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck and motorcycle in Costa Mesa was identified.
COSTA MESA, CA — A 34-year-old Santa Ana man who was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck and motorcycle on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Costa Mesa was identified Saturday by the Orange County coroner's office.
The accident that claimed the life of Adam Whalen was reported about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near the connector with the Corona Del Mar (73) Freeway and Baker Street on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Whalen died at the scene.
